Mexicali VBS in April 2007

Last year we were blessed with the opportunity to conduct a VBS in Mexicali. We worked with the brothers and sisters there to reach over 100 kids. As of this date there have been 4 baptisms as a direct result of this effort. Here are a few pictures from that event.

Our kids and adults did an outstanding job and I am very proud of them.

We will go again this March and teach VBS. I believe the Mexicali church has decided this is a good thing. When Terry Hinton, Jim Minor and I were there just a few weeks ago, many asked if we were going to do it again. I asked them; "are you ready to have another VBS?" Their response was an overwhelming YES! They cannot wait to get it going again.

Our kids are also eager to go back there and work with the Mexicali church. The few days we are there are filled with a lot of work and a lot of fun. By the end of the week we are worn out in a most blessed way. if you have chance to join us I would recommend it over a vacation...honestly! Until next time...God Bless

Training men to minister in Mexico

Dear Brethren,
I am so excited about the possibilities in Mexicali. Much work had been done and yet so much is still to be done. Our brothers in Mexicali are working hard to get the estimates for the building. We are planning on erecting a dormitory which will house about 10-20 single students. We will need several trips down there to complete much of the work ourselves. many members from Woodward Park have committed to going down and working the construction site.

We have set a date for school to start late next year, 2008, and we already have 2 men who are ready to begin school. My desire is for you to bring this issue before our Father in heaven. The Woodward Park family is very excited about the possibilites in Mexicali. Preachrs being trained and souls being won to the Lord.

I will find some pictures to add to this blog as time allows. I look forward to keeping you updated on the progress on the work in Mexicali. Until next time...God bless
